Where to Get Free Tax Booklets and Forms

Local libraries will have basic forms available, and forms can be printed at the libraries. The main Redwood City Post Office (1100 Broadway Street) will have forms only while supplies last.

• Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) and Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE): Search by city or county for best results.

• The Internal Revenue Service offers free filing options if you meet certain qualifications.

State

• The Franchise Tax Board offers two free e-file programs if certain qualifications are met: Ready Return and CalFile. Other filing options are available.
