AUTOMATIC FIRE SPRINKER SYSTEMS

Automatic Fire Sprinkler Systems are required to be installed in:

• All new buildings or structures

• All newly created dwelling units

• Existing buildings and structures whenever floor area is increased by 1,000 square feet or more.

• Basic Wind Speed 85 mph - 3 second gust

• Climate Zone: 3

• Soil Bearing Capacity: 1,500 psf max or soil report required

• Roof Drains: Designed to accomodate minimum of 2 inches of rainfall per hour

• Metal Piping Prohibited Underground in Areas Underlain by "Younger Bay Mud"

• Hours of Construction:
  • 7:00am - 8:00pm Mondays through Fridays
