Forty years later, when foreigners challenge Yanomamö practices, Shake asks himself who can be trusted and whether the spirits he called friends have deceived him.
In this fascinating true story Shake recalls his struggle to preserve Yanomamö traditions while also seeking peace. What happens when a shaman confronts The Enemy God? Will the nation survive? The experiences of many generations of Yanomamö are brought together by respected leader Batista “Shoefoot” Cajicuwa, reenacted by the natives, filmed in a Mayan village in Belize, and produced with the support of US and Canadian filmmakers as an initiative to create awareness about the aborigines groups in Latin America.
