Volunteer! Fair Oaks Community Ctr - various days
Here are two wonderful volunteer opportunities - great ways to give back to the community.Emergency Food Pantry Assistant – works with volunteer food pantry coordinator to prepare emergency food bags, organize emergency food pantry, and help keep inventory. Must be able to physically lift and move heavy boxes. Number of volunteers needed – 1 or 2 Frequency – 1 or 2 times/week; typically Tuesday and Friday mornings. Volunteer Front Desk Receptionist – helps to provide front desk reception coverage during staff meetings. Must be bilingual in English/Spanish. Training provided. Number of volunteers needed – 1-2 (depending on frequency of volunteering) Frequency – 1 time/week; Thursdays 12:30pm-3:00pm. Shift can be once a month; twice a month; every week.
