Volunteer! Project READ - various days/times
Project READ is a free, volunteer-based literacy program serving adults, children and families. You can become a Project READ tutor, and help someone with reading, writing and critical thinking skills. Tutors receive 15 hours of training prior to being matched with a student. It's easy to be a tutor, and it's very gratifying to know that you have changed somone's life for the better!Contact Project READ for information on the next training, and to learn how you can become a tutor.
