Camellias: 'Sasanquas in the Garden'
The San Francisco Peninsula Camellia Society will be hosting a lecture by Yuri Panchul, local expert and hybridizer of the camellia species, sasanqua. Yuri will give an illustrated presentation on sasanquas in his garden as well as speak to the recent research on sasanquas.and the hybridization programs. Sasanquas are early bloomers and will light up your garden from November through February when the camellia japonicas start to bloom. Free. Light refreshements served
