Redwood City — Conservatorship is a formal court procedure to oversee the health, safety and welfare of incapacitated adults as a result of age, disability or accident. Conservatorship can be temporary, limited or general, and be a conservatorship of the person, the estate, or the person and the estate. Recent legislation has brought major reforms to conservatorship to improve administration and ensure the protection and care of vulnerable persons under conservatorship.
Attorneys Colleen McAvoy and Melissa Karlsten will provide an overview of what you need to know at a noontime lecture.
The public is invited to attend this free program at the Law Library, 710 Hamilton Street, Redwood City. For more information please call 650-363-4913 or visit the Law Library online at www.smclawlibrary.org.
