Free Lecture on Deferred Action Immigration Law

On June 15, 2012, the Secretary of Homeland Security announced that people who arrived in the United States as children and meet several key guidelines may request consideration for a deferment from potential removal action for a period of two years, and also would then be eligible to obtain a work permit.

Attorney Alex Lubarsky will discuss the DACA process in detail, including a special emphasis on the qualifications and documentation required to submit a successful request for Deferred Action.

In cooperation between the San Mateo County Law Library and the Redwood City Public Library, this lecture will be held at the Redwood City Public Library Community Room, located at 1044 Middlefield Road in downtown Redwood City. This lecture is free and open to the public. For more information please call 650-363-4913.
