City Council Meetings – General Information
The City Council typically meets two times a month, on the second and fourth Mondays at 7:00 p.m. The Council may meet on the first Monday of the month if the need arises. These meetings are held in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City and are open to the public.
The City Council also serves as the RDA Successor Agency, the Board of Equalization, the Public Finance Authority, and the Public Facilities & Infrastructure Authority.

The Council Meetings are televised live to Redwood City residents on Astound Broadband cable Channel 26 and Comcast cable Channel 27, and are streamed live as well as archived on the web. Videotaped copies of the council meetings are available at the main library, located at 1044 Middlefield Road, or can be purchased from the City Clerk’s office.
City Council Agendas are prepared by the Office of the City Clerk and are available on the Friday prior to the City Council Meeting. Agendas are posted and available at City Hall, the main library, and at the Office of the City Clerk. You may also view the current and past agendas online. You can receive Council agendas and minutes (or other City documents and periodicals) via email for free by registering/subscribing at www.redwoodcity.org/egov.
