City Council Meetings – General Information
The City Council typically meets two times a month, on the second and fourth Mondays at 7:00 p.m. The Council may meet on the first Monday of the month if the need arises. These meetings are held in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City and are open to the public.
The City Council also serves as the RDA Successor Agency, the Board of Equalization, the Public Financing Board Authority, and the Public Facilities & Infrastructure Authority.
The Council Meetings are televised live to Redwood City residents on Astound Broadband cable Channel 26 and Comcast cable Channel 27, AT&T U-verse Channel 99, and are streamed live as well as archived on the web.DVD copies of the council meetings can be purchased from the City Clerk’s office
City Council Agendas are prepared by the Office of the City Clerk and are available on the Friday prior to the City Council Meeting. Agendas are posted and available at City Hall, the downtown library, and at the Office of the City Clerk. You may also view the current and past agendas and minutes online. You can receive Council agendas and minutes (or other City documents and periodicals) via email for free by registering/subscribing at
City Council Minutes are prepared by the Office of the City Clerk and are the permanent record of proceedings of each City Council Meeting. Minutes are available for review at the Office of the City Clerk.
