The Shanks
The Shanks are a premier six piece classic rock cover band from San Jose California. Founded in 2001, they can be seen performing a wide variety of music at various municipal summer concert series, and corporate events throughout the year. The Shanks are past winners of the KFOX 98.5 "Last Band Standing" competition, a reflection of their local popularity. Expect to hear songs from Foreigner, ZZ Top, Heart, Fleetwood Mac, Santana, Bad Company, Pat Benatar, Joan Jett, The Pretenders, Queen, Journey, Free, The Rolling Stones, Grace Potter, Clapton, Led Zeppelin and many other great artists as you dance the night away!

The Cocktail Monkeys have been a Bay Area favorite for over the last seven years. Specializing in entertaining all types of audiences with their high energy stage performance while masterfully executing popular songs from genres of music that include  Rock, Pop, Motown & R&B.

We are musicians with a passion for blues-based American music. Since 2000, we've played  a range of Bay Area venues, such as Lou's Pier 47, The Grant & Green, The Mojo Lounge, Eli's Mile High Club, The Old Princeton Landing, Nick's Restaurant, The Warehouse, The Baltic, Skip's Tavern, JJ's, Konocti Harbor Resort, Roundup Saloon, Vinnie's, Downtown Joe's, The Pleasanton Hotel and The Saloon. We have performed at various fairs and festivals, such as Oakland's Blues and Art On The Bay (now called Art & Soul), Hayward's Zucchini Festival, Albany's Solano Stroll, San Jose's Tapestry Arts Festival, San Ramon's Art & Wind Festival, Burlingame's Summer Concerts in the Park, Moraga's Music in the Park, Berkeley's 4th of July Festival and the Bernal Heights Fiesta on the Hill. We were chosen to be participants in the Monterey Blues Festival's 2005 Battle of the Bands.
