6. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS AND CONSENT CALENDAR - CITY COUNCIL/REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY BOARD
Items on the Consent Calendar are considered to be routine by the City Council/Redevelopment Agency Board will be enacted by one motion and one vote. The Consent Calendar category is limited to 15 minutes of comment to be allocated as determined by the Mayor/Chair. If you wish to speak to items on the Consent Calendar, please complete a speaker's card and give it to the Deputy City Clerk/Agency Assistant.
MOTION: waive reading of the Consent Calendar except the ordinances by title, adopt the resolutions and the ordinances, and approve other items.

Award of Contract – Veterans Boulevard Storm Drain Pump Station Electrical Upgrade Project.

Recommendation:
Approve, by motion, the contract documents and award the contract for the Veterans Boulevard Storm Drain Pump Station Electrical Upgrade Project to the lowest responsible bidder, Pleasanton Engineering Contractors, Inc., of Pleasanton for their responsive and responsible low bid of $349,563.00 and authorize the City Manager to increase the contract amount up to 10% if necessary.

Amendment No. 3 to the 2005-2006 Comprehensive Street Tree Maintenance Agreement with the Professional Tree Care Company, Inc.

Recommendation:
Approve by motion, Amendment No. 3 to the 2005-2006 Comprehensive Street Tree Maintenance Agreement with The Professional Tree Care Company, Inc. in the amount of $230,333, and authorize the City Manager to increase the contract amount, if necessary, up to 10% of the amount awarded.
