The following lists are appointments to regional associations of cities. Redwood City City Council Members are appointed to these positions by the Council of Cities City Selection Committee or by the Mayor to these positions, and the seat usually carries voting powers. In the past a Council alternate has also been named but that will no longer be the case. If a Council Member is unable to attend the regularly scheduled meeting and if possible, a replacement can fill in on their behalf it will be the appointed Council Member’s responsibility to arrange their replacement. This will not be the case for City Selection Committee appointees.
