Fair Oaks Library Branch Offers Two Events Noting Black History Month & Chinese New Year
Redwood City, CA - January 7, 2008 – The Redwood City Public Library’s Fair Oaks Branch invites the public to join friends, neighbors, and other community members in honoring Black History Month and Chinese New Year with two free programs in February:
- Saturday February 16th, 11:45 am – Red Panda Acrobats
This fast-paced show celebrates the Chinese New Year, including amazing acrobatic skills, colorful costumes, and traditional Chinese music, guaranteed to astonish any audience!
- Monday February 25th - 6:00 pm – Storytelling with Yolanda Rhodes
The entire family will be engaged and enthralled with the supreme storytelling abilities of Yolanda Rhodes, renowned for her truth and spiritual and emotional charm.
