Is my payment on this site secure?
Yes-
Use your visa or mastercard with ease. Our site is locked and protected.

Why does it tell me to re-enter my telephone number?
Make sure you enter your telephone number without dashes. It should look like 5551212. The box after the "x" is for your extension if you have one. All 7 digits belong in the box after the area code box.

Why do I have charges from City of Redwood City?
All charges through the Parks and Recreation Department will show up on your statement as "City of Redwood City."

How do I add family members?
Family members can be added from the shopping cart screen under "assign participants." (step 3). Or you can add them from "my account" under "change family members."

How do I edit family member info from the checkout screen?
Family member info can be edited from the checkout screen (or step 3. assign participants). Simply click on "my account" - "change family members"- and choose the participant you would like to edit. Once you have edited the screen, click "save." You will not return to the checkout automatically. Please click on your "shopping cart" to resume checkout activity.

What if I have a department credit?
You can now access your department credits online. If you believe you have a credit that is not showing up online, please call 650.780.7311 for assistance.

What is your refund policy?
Summer camp & swim lesson refund policy

  • A check or credit card refund will only be issued if a class is cancelled by the department or the student withdraws at least one week prior to the start date of the class, less a $5 processing fee (there is no processing fee if the class is cancelled by the Department).
  • Students who wish to withdraw from a class less than one week prior to the start date will receive a FULL department credit which may be applied to any future recreation department activity, less a $5 processing fee. SINGLE DAY WORKSHOPS CANNOT BE REFUNDED AT THIS TIME.
  • In general no refunds or credits will be issued after the class begins.
  • Students who are dissatisfied with a program for any reason should fill out a program evaluation so we can make the class better in the future. Credits and refunds will be evaluated on a case by case basis by the program supervisor.

How do I get a refund?

  • All refunds & credits must be processed by recreation staff. You may call 650.780.7311 or 650.780.7323 or email us at recreation@redwoodcity.org to initiate the process.
