The Redwood City Accessible Recreation Activities Program has some fun and exciting events coming up . ARAP is designed to serve teens and adults with physical and/or developmental disabilities from all over the Bay Area. All events are held at the Veterans Memorial Senior Center in Redwood City unless otherwise stated. Please join Redwood City Community Services as we celebrate the accomplishments of the ARAP participants. Demonstrations from the drama club, fitness club, music therapy and a video montage displaying all the events of the year. The evening will conclude with champagne, sparkling cider, appetizers & additional goodies. |

Monterey Whale Watching Tour & Lunch

8:00am-4:00pm
Whale watching tours in the third largest deep submarine canyon in
the world. The Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary is the home
to 27 species of marine mammals, 100+ species of marine birds, 345
species of fish and the leatherback turtle. After the tour we will have
lunch at a wonderful restaurant in Monterey. Fee: $60 |

Mother's Day Soap Making and
Tea Outing

10:30am-3pm
Discover the arts and craft of soap making and much more. Bring your
mom, grandma or a friend to be able to make different types of soap and
learn the process of soap making. After soap making we will be getting
tea at a local café in downtown Palo Alto.
