Parks & Recreation's New Director! |

Congratulations to Chris Beth, the new Parks, Recreation and Community Services Director! Chris has served our community as a Recreation & Community Services Superintendent and Program Manager for 10 years, following eight years of recreation program coordination and management in other cities. He holds a masters degree in public administration, and is currently serving as president of the California Park and Recreation Society. Chris is a seasoned manager, an effective leader in the field of parks and recreation, and he is extremely passionate about Redwood City. |

Red Morton Community Center
This is a coed indoor drop-in soccer program with in-house rules designed to encourage playing good quality, fast paced, soccer.
If there are enough registrants, this will be converted to a small league. Game length is up to 20 minutes long with no half time. Players will be placed on a team of 6-8 players, with 6 on the field at one time. (Free substitution, no game stoppage required.)

Redwood City Teen Snowboard and Ski Trips are back! This year we are teaming up with Bay Area Ski Bus! Bay Area Ski Bus has served teens in the Bay Area for over 11 seasons. Trips will depart at 4:30am from Red Morton and return approx. 9:30pm. For more information on Bay Area Ski Bus, please look up www.BayAreaSkiBus.com or contact Mark Yasuda at (650)780-7316.
