Streets Alive! Parks Alive!

Streets Alive! Parks Alive! is a coordinated effort among cities across San Mateo County to promote healthy communities by providing safe, accessible, public spaces for recreation. Streets and parks throughout San Mateo County are opened up for exercise, dancing, strolling, cycling, picnicking and play!
- Italian Street Chalk Art Demo & Interactive Area with the Redwood City Art Center
- Wall panel painting with the Redwood City Art Center
- Make your own Frisbees
- Octopus Bean Bag Toss
- Tricycle Race Course (Trikes provided!)
- Inflatable Playland
- Performance by Earthcapades @ 11am
- Performance by Broadway by the Bay Youth Theater Conservatory @ 1:30pm

"Almost" Mother's Day Kid's Concert

Have at blast at the “Almost” Mother’s Day Concert, featuring Andy Z & the Andyland Band! Families will enjoy a fun kid's concert, an inflatable playland, and can also create a Mother's Day Gift in the craft area. This concert is sponsored by the Redwood City Mother’s Club and the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department.

Marlin Park Playground Renovation
IN PROGRESS
WORK HAS BEGUN! Immediate neighbors (within 400 feet of the park) were notified by door hangers; RSCA put information on their website; there are signs on site, and there will be a notice in the upcoming Pilot. We’re excited for the improved playground structure, new amenities, and a new tot lot. Stay tuned for progress updates! |
