Parenting Classes - NEW!
All you need to know about taking care of a child! Okay, well maybe we don't have ALL of the answers, but we DO have many classes that can assist you on your journey.

We can tell you how to undertand your baby, speak to them in sign language, talking to your teen (we don't recommend signing!), Positive Discipline and MORE!

Adventures in Music
18 mos-3years

Fridays 9:30-10:15am
with Community School of Music & Arts
Enjoy singing, creative movement, musical games, listening while playing simple instruments & dancing with scarves, bean bags, hoops, ribbons, parachutes, more. Learn activities to be shared at home in this family-oriented class. Set your child on the path to a lifelong enjoyment of music. Parent & child must attend together. With a different “adventure” focus each session, these are the perfect classes for students to take multiple times.

Creative Music Makers
Age 3-5

with Community School of Music & Arts
Fridays 10:30am | 1pm
Children are introduced to music concepts with these classes that have a different focus each session, making them perfect for students to take multiple times. Children have fun & build skills through singing, creative movement, musical games, while playing rhythm instruments.

Little Hoopers
Age 3-5
with 1 on 1 Basketball
Thursdays 9:30-10:10am
Thursdays 10:10-11am

This unique class introduces the game of basketball to youngsters in a fun, noncompetitive environment. Our coaches have been trained specifically to teach basketball to pre-school age children using smaller balls and lower hoops. We will focus on skills such as dribbling, passing, catching and shooting and play games such as dribble tag, steal the bacon and sharks and minnows. Come out and PLAY!

mom and childMandarin & Spanish Immersion Adventure (Preschool & Tot)
Age 2 ½ - 4 ½

Preschooler Thursdays: Spanish 10am | Mandarin 2:30pm
Tot Thursdays: Spanish 9am
with I-Immersion Institute

Come to a fun immersion MANDARIN or Spanish class that focuses on conversation, listening, reading, writing, and presentations. Each class begins with an adventure topic to motivate foreign language learning so that your child wants to come back for more! No previous exposure to the language is necessary- all levels are welcomed! At-home reinforcement materials are available for purchase in class. 14 months-2½ years. Class requires parent/caregiver participation. For more info go to www.iimmersion.com or call 650.638.0463. $10 lab fee for materials is payable to instructor at first class for CD and flashcards.

French for Parent & Me
Age 2-5

Tuesdays 10am-11am
BONJOUR! In this fun class, caregivers and child will learn nursery rhymes, sing and dance to songs, learn about french puppets and manipulate them. This class is an immersion into french childhood culture and incorporates music and movement. No previous exposure to french necessary. $15 lab fee payable to instructor at first class for crafts and hand-outs. CD available for purchase $8. Parent participation required.
