1. 900 Main Street (Regional Occupational Program)
Application for a Use Permit, pursuant to Article 26.4,
to allow for a public and quasi public use within the Central
Business Retail “CBR” Zoning District. The
proposed use, San Mateo County Regional Occupational Program
(SMCROP), would occupy a portion of the ground floor tenant
space within the City Center Plaza located at 900 Main
Street. The proposed use, SMCROP, is a program of the County
Office of Education designed to provide job training for
individuals in areas where there is a labor market demand
for skilled employees. Parking for the proposed use would
be provided in the City’s public parking lots.

Application for a Use Permit, pursuant to Article 17.4,
to allow a new mini-market for the sale of food products
within
an existing 780 square foot commercial/industrial building
(that was previously used as a wood shop). The tenant space
is located on a 6,720 square foot parcel in the “IR” (Industrial
Restricted District). The applicant proposes to have one
employee and to operate 7 days/week from 8AM to 11PM.

Application for a Use Permit, pursuant to Article 18.4,
to allow a 600 square foot deli within an existing multi-tenant
building. The applicant proposes to have one employee and
to operate Monday through Sunday from 7:00am to 5:00pm. The
tenant space is located on a 4,000 square foot parcel that
contains a total of 23 parking spaces in the “IP” (Industrial
Park) zoning district.

4. 1071 El Camino Real (The Alaris Group for Sprint PCS)
Application for a Use Permit, pursuant to the requirements
of Article 38.3 of the Zoning Ordinance, to allow installation
of a wireless telecom facility on the roof of an existing
commercial building. The lot is approximately 3.35 acres
and is located in the Central Business Retail “CBR” Zoning
District.
