Application for a side yard Variance which would allow for
the retention of an accessory building that was constructed
in a required side yard setback. Article 5 of the Redwood
City Zoning Ordinance requires a side yard setback equal
to ten percent of the lot width for properties less than
60 feet in width. The subject property is therefore required
to maintain a side yard setback of five and a half (5’6”)
feet. The applicant is requesting a three foot setback for
the length of the accessory structure (16’2”).

Application for an Amendment to an expired Planned
Development Permit, under Ordinance No. 1130, Article 46, to allow a
new, live-work photo studio (2,328 square feet) with a new
two-car carport and four on-site, outdoor parking spaces
(three tandem spaces and one handicap space) in conjunction
with an existing single-family residence (to remain) located
on a 9,608 square foot parcel in the "CG-R" (General
Commercial- Residential Combining) District on property described
