Volunteers In Police Service

The purpose of the V.I.P.S. program is to provide local community members fulfilling opportunities to use their skills and experience to assist the police department in providing a high level of service to the community and to strengthen the relationship between the department in the community.

The V.I.P.S. program supplements the efforts of paid staff to facilitate internal services and programs it serves as a means for residents and local workers to become familiar with the police department. The V.I.P.S. program creates opportunities for individuals to attain personal satisfaction of performing a valuable service for the community.
