Grades 3-5
- Water Goes Around and Comes Around – Student will build a model of a water system from the source to users. Learn to read and interpret a water meter. Plan water conservation programs at the community level.
- Waste Not, Want Not - Students will simulate the uses and conservation of water. List 3 to 5 ways to conserve water. Recognize wasteful uses of water in their own environments.
Grades 9-12
- Wastewater Treatment - The student will define wastewater and list components of wastewater. Describe the function of a wastewater treatment plant. Create a wastewater treatment model and use it to clean wastewater. Describe some primary and secondary wastewater treatment methods.
