What is the consideration / approval process for the water and sewer rate increases?

  • A Proposed Rate Increase mailer ("Prop 218 notice") was sent to all Redwood City water and sewer customers - April 19, 2013
  • A Community information meeting is scheduled for May 22, 2013, 7 pm, Public Works building, 1400 Broadway.
  • The City Council will hold a public hearing on proposed sewer and water rate increases - June 10, 2013, 7 pm, City Hall, 1017 Middlefield Road
  • If approved, the new rates will become effective August 1, 2013; July 1, 2014; July 1, 2015.
